UK TV Alleges Amount Of Money Youths Were Paid To Attend William Ruto's Nyayo Stadium Rally

A report by Sky News, a news outlet based in the United Kingdom (UK), revealed how youths were paid to attend Deputy President William Ruto's final rally in Nyayo Stadium.

In a feature dubbed Eyewitness, correspondent Yousra Elbagir trailed a group of four youths who managed to attend both rallies Kenya Kwanza Alliance rally and Azimio rally that was in Kasarani Stadium.

The group of four youths in full branded United Democratic Alliance, UDA t-shirts having whistles in their mouths and Ruto's posters in their hands. Surprisingly enough, they left the stadium but Revealed that they were paid between Kshs. 500- 1000 to attend the rally.

"We are hustling. We were paid by political brokers between Ksh500 -1,000 to attend this rally," stated Sylvester, the leader of the group said adding that they could not leave the cash but they know who they will vote for in August polls.
