Silas Jakakimba who is a close ally of Raila and an aide, has revealed some information about a former MP who is alleging Raila betrayed him.The former Laikipia North MP Methew Lempurkei said that the Azimio leader had promised to nominate him for EALA MP but instead he went ahead to nominate his daughter Winnie Odinga.
However Silas Jakakimba took the former MP's sentiments head on.He revealed that Raila had stood with the MP over the years when he was outside parliament.Jakakimba revealed that the MP was even given one million shillings a few days to the elections and was even shocked by the amount. He has asked him to be grateful and maintain peace.
"Raila has always stood by u all the years even when you were OUTSIDE Parliament. I've severally given you funds from him including Kshs.1,000,000 at Memusi's home just before elections. Remember how shocked you were? Yes, it's the same Odinga.Be grateful and maintain peace," he wrote.
He went on to advice the former MP thay he jad all rights to make any political decision but he had to be grateful and maintain peace instead of chiding Raila.
"Like all of us or anyone else for that matter, you have all the rights to make a(ny) political move, vertically or horizontally - but be grateful and maintain the Peace as you do that.I believe you are a great leader but don't chide Odinga as you make any move," Jakakimba adviced him.
