Deputy president William Ruto has sent condolences to the late close ally of former President Moi HoseaKiplagat. Through a short post on Facebook, Ruto stated that Hosea Kiplagat was a steadfast, visionary and committed promoter of unity. He also mentioned that Hosea was dedicated to development and he was always devoted to what he believed in.
"We celebrate the life of an outstanding leader, a mentor and a selfless servant of the community. Hosea Kiplagat was steadfast, visionary and a committed promoter of unity. He was a faithful force for development and a skilful leader devoted to what he believed in. We pray to God that He gives the family and their loved ones strength and comfort. Rest In Peace, Honourable Kiplagat." He wrote on social media.
Hosea Kiplagat who is a former cooperative bank chairman died today while receiving treatment at Karen Hospital, Nairobi. He died at the age of 75. Hosea will be greatly remembered for being the KANU party chairperson in Baringo branch during Moi's era.
