Kakamega County Governor Fernandez Baraza today has spoken on the reported split of the county government of Kakamega.

While addressing his county residents, the ODM Governor has dispelled the reports and rumours that the county government of Kakamega is going to be split into two.

He assured the residents that him and his Deputy Governor Ayub Savula are keen to form a government together and deliver the manifesto they had for the residents of the County.

"Kakamega County has one government. There is no such a thing as a 50/50 government. There has been rumours of a split government but this county has only one government led by the Governor and assisted by his deputy." Fernandez remarked.
