
Mizani Africa has for another time alleges the gubernatorial candidate who commands more votes from Meru county a head of the August general election in the country.
Meru county is one of the counties in Mount Kenya East being eyed by the two leading coalitions, the Kenya Kwanza coalition and the Azimio La Umoja coalition where they have been making numerous trips to the region.
And now, the Mizani africa has places Meru has a hotspot county where their are three strong candidates and either of them could carry the day. Kenya Kwanza candidate under the United Democratic Alliance party still leading in the race.
This is after Meru senator honourable Mithika Linturi emerges first with 32.3%. Second position has however gone with an Independent candidate honourable Kawira Mqangaza with 29.4% while the current Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi comes third with 28.1% with just less than 34 days to the next general election.
