Ruto has pulled a fast one in Karen where he called upon church leaders to play for today's event ahead of his yet to be made public the name of his purported Deputy. The meeting coming at a time when his supporters are anxious about his choice of running mate.
Some of the leaders present include Waiguru and Nanok who are part of his campaign team and who are seeking to have Ruto crowned as president. Also present are governors from Rift Valley and who are on the move to popularize Ruto ahead of the August polls.
Also among the list are members of parliament who also include Rigathi Gachagua who is said to be among the team that has giving Ruto a hard time since he is seeking to deputize Ruto. Others include Aisha Jumwa and Cicily Mbarire who both have exuded confidence that Ruto will win.
