Muslim Sheikh who backed Raila in the most recent general elections may have problems as President William Ruto's chief of staff for defense, Aden Duale, gives a clear message about how to handle the Sheikh.
Aden Duale, the tough-talking cabinet secretary for defense, reportedly warned anyone collaborating with Sheikh Juma Ngao that they would not be recognized by the government in a video that was posted by the Standard.
He called on the ambassadors and warned them not to deal with Sheikh Juma Ngao or his organization for fear of losing government support if they did. He said Juma Ngao shouldn't be allowed to sit anywhere.
"We will not recognize you as the government if you engage with Sheikh Juma Ngao and his organization, therefore please do not allow them to sit anywhere. I also want to ask the ambassadors this.
The prayer will be offered by the Kadhi, and I am speaking on the President's behalf. You have already witnessed how our government operates." Aden Duale, the CS Defense, stated.
