Angry Residents of Isiolo Go Rogue, Disrupts Raila's Azimio La Umoja Meeting (Video)

2022 politics has gathered momentum in the country. Aspirants who are vying for different political seats are moving to different parts of the country to popularize themselves to Kenyan voters. The majority of them have begun early campaigns because the elections are scheduled in less than 10 months.

However, much attention is focused on the presidential election. Kenya will get a new president immediately after President Uhuru Kenyatta vacates office next year in August. ODM leader and Deputy President Dr. William Ruto are currently leading the race to succeed Uhuru.

This Saturday, the ODM leader was in Isiolo county to popularize his Azimio la Umoja initiative to residents. The former Prime Minister has been moving to different parts of the country to popularize his 2022 agenda to Kenyans.

However, his meeting was disrupted after attendants went rogue. Angry residents were seen throwing chairs and other pieces of stuff after local politics marred the event. Some local leaders who wanted to address the event were immediately silenced when they wanted to speak.

According to the video that was circulated online, some are heard chanting, "Mwizi Mwizi" a move that completely paralyzed the meetings.

However, the ODM leader addressed the meeting successfully, promising to bring development to the region if he wins the 2022 polls. He also promised to include the region in his government as well as employ the youths to tackle the unemployment menace.
