Amhednasir Abdullahi alias Grand Mulla is a city lawyer, senior counsel and chairman. He is a veteran lawyer, paying in mind that he represented President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017 presidential case petition in supreme Court. On Saturday via his twitter after arrest of Turkish national Harun Aydin,city lawyer attempt to access him in was in vain. Law is very clear that arrested person has right to communicate with an advocate and any other person whose assistance is necessary. According to City Lawyer, his blockade his alleged to have come from above.
" Apparently the right to Counsel of one's choice doesn't apply to Turkish national Mr. Harun Aydin arrested by the Kenyan police. I have been denied access to see him allegedly "on orders from above" @IG_NPS @FredMatiangi," City Lawyer Amhednasir Abdullahi.
Turkish investor Harun Aydin who was part of Ruto's outrage to Uganda was arrested at 1pm, at airport when he entering Kenya from Uganda. He is now being held at Kilimani Police Station.
