
Mombasa Governor HE Abdulswamad Shariff has called on Residents to unite so that can realise the socio- economic development goals they have set out.
The governors who spoke during the lighting of this year's Christmas tree at the treasury square, said he wants to leave the country more united then he found it at the end of his tenure. We had very divisive elections during this year's elections.
However, all that is behind now. Elections are over, I am calling for integration for the sake of development. Let not allow anyone to divide us along tribal or religious lines.

Governor Abdulswamad Shariff sad. The governor urged Residents of Mombasa to stand against people he said are against the prosperity in the county.

"My deputy Francis Thoya and I have resolved to put our religious affiliations aside for the sake of serving the electorate and ensuring the unity of Residents" He said.
