Many politicians are currently seeking to have president Uhuru's blessings in the coming general elections, among them are One Kenya Alliance and ODM allies. ODM has even threatened to quit handshake if Uhuru fail to endorse Raila Odinga.
TangaTanga allies are the only one who seems they are not interested in getting endorsement from the head of state. They seems to be waiting for a candidate who'll be endorsed by president as that's the only who can give them competition.
Mathira MP, Rigathi Gachagua, has now advised president Uhuru Kenyatta to endorse ODM Party Leader, Raila Odinga. Gachagua said Raila is the only formidable candidate who is position to face deputy president William Ruto.He declared that Mt Kenya will overwhelmingly votes for Ruto. This comes just few days after Mt Kenya TangaTanga legislators requested to have negotiation with deputy president so that they can forward their demands. It's expected that Ruto's runningmate will come from Mt Kenya or prime minister's position if BBI passes with many believing it will be either Martha Karua or Mwangi Kiunjuri. Ruto will also have to seek support from other regions.
