Politicians in Kangundo sub-county have been warned against politicking at funerals.
Addressing journalists Kangundo member of parliament Fabian Muli said that lately there have been instances where politicians have been seen causing mayhem in funerals.
He called for them to respect the bereaved families and practice decorum.
"We have seen leaders go to funerals and causing an uproar, we are not against these leaders being called up to speak but just condole with the family and greet the mourners then sit," he said.
"Let's not cause more pain to the bereaved than they have let's all be respectful," he added.
Muli stated this as he traversed his constituency while discussing bursary cheques to secondary schools.
He also urged the residents to take advantage of the 21 days given by IEBC to register as voters.
The exercise will be held between 17th January and 6th February.
