Waita addressing journalists at Kathiani (source.original)
Machakos gubernatorial aspirant Nzioka Waita has shot at Wiper leaders likening him with the outgoing governor Dr.Alfred Mutua.
Speaking at Mbee Market Waita said that on numerous occasions he has been compared to Mutua since they both were formerly statehouse employees.
He added that the leaders have gone around claiming that he will not deliver just like the outgoing governor, Mutua.
Waita rubbished the claims noting that Mutua was brought to Machakos by the Wiper party and if there is anyone to blame it's Kalonzo Musyoka.
"It was Kalonzo Musyoka who brought Mutua to us. They should stop comparing me to Mutua because I have never vied for any elective seat," Waita said.
"My work at the statehouse was to ensure service delivery to Kenyans it was not talking. I want to tell those in Wiper not to panic but know we will work together when we win," he added.
Waita asked locals not to vote for leaders mentioned in graft or associated with theft of public funds.
Waita promised to resolve water problems by ensuring Muuoni dam water is distributed to the people.
Waita was accompanied by his running mate Florence Mwangangi, Senatorial aspirants Benard Ngengele and Mutua Katuku.
