William Ruto Told to do This Before Reconciling With President Uhuru Kenyatta

Renowned political commentator Herman Manyora, has advised DP William Ruto on what he should do before approaching Uhuru Kenyatta for a handshake.

This comes only days after the deputy president stated that he was willing to reach an unconditional truce with his boss in response to concerns made by a group of leading Catholic bishops.

The analyst pointed out three factors that he believes will make the UhuRuto Handshake dream a success for him in his weekly YouTube political analysis program "A matter of time."

This is despite President Uhuru Kenyatta's aides laying out stringent requirements for William Ruto to meet before he can reconcile with his boss, as the two haven't seen eye to eye in months.

The University of Nairobi professor recommended that the DP should fold the newly revamped United Democratic Alliance (UDA), cancel the existing round of meetings, and acknowledge President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga's March 2018 Handshake.

“Before he does the three listed things, how will it be known that the reconciliation he is seeking with President Uhuru is genuine?” Manyora warned DP Ruto.

Manyora went on to tell the DP to tame his allies from attacking the President.
