Today being February 4 marks one year since Kenya's second head or state passed on. This was non other than president Daniel Arap Moi who passed on 4th February 2020. Moi died aged 95 and went into books of history as the long term serving president of Kenya.
State House Kenya: "President Uhuru Kenyatta joins the family, friends, relatives and close acquaintances of the late former president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi at Kabarak in Nakuru County for the remembrance service to mark one year since the second president of the Republic of Kenya passed on."
Upon his arrival to Kabarak, president Uhuru Kenyatta was received by Baringo senator Gideon Moi who is also the son to the late Daniel Arap Moi. This can be seen in the photo below.
According to Tuko.co.ke, ODM party leader Raila Odinga, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula and NMS boss Major General Mohammed Badi were also in attendance.
