The former Nairobi county governor Hon. Mike Sonko has broken silence following the Court orders that barred him from posting to his social media platforms materials and information that can defame the newly sworn in governor Hon. Anne Kananu.
This comes hours after the court directed the former Nairobi boss who was impeached by the Nairobi County members of Assemblies on the grounds of misusing public funds and gross misconduct.
Sonko through his twitter account, has revealed that he has received the court orders from the media and he has not been served with the order personally.
In his tweet Sonko said "Let me state categorically that i have not been served with any court order personally nor have i seen one. I have just seen news alerts that i have been gagged through the media. So i will only obey court orders served to me personally."
In conclusion, Sonko has given one condition that he should be served with court orders personally or else he will continue posting materials that defame political leaders.
