Division in Ruto's Camp As UDA and PEP Party Set To Lock Horns in Kiambaa By Election

The By Elections has acted as an acid test for politicians to know their level of preparedness ahead of next year general elections. The last concluded By-Election saw the party associated with Moses Kuria, People's Empowerment Party (PEP) clinch the Juja seat against the rulling Jubilee party.

Moses Kuria is a close ally of the deputy president William Ruto. His party plans to field a candidate in Kiambaa mini poll.

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has also been formed by politicians allied to William Ruto.UDA has unveiled John Njuguna as their preferred candidate who will be battling with PEP party candidate Raymond Kuria. Moses Kuria is ready test whether he will replicate Jujas' win in Kiambaa.Both UDA and PEP are the new upcoming parties which have threatened the support of Jubilee in the central Kenya.Despite not being one year old, they have sent out strong signal that 2022 elections will be a contest for the fittest.
