Through her page she posted a photo of her with the deputy president William Samoei Ruto and Kilifi governor Amason Kingi.
She wrote "Consulting with these esteemed leaders on matters of National Importance between the Coast Region and Nakuru County. A Win - Win is possible for all,"
Kihika who was elected on a Jubilee party ticket has declared her interest for the Nakuru gubernatorial seat which is currently being held by governor Lee Kinyanjui.
She is also a big supporter of the deputy president William Samoei Ruto's presidential bid in the August polls.
The Nakuru Senator is also a big critique of president Uhuru Kenyatta's administration and the opposition leader Raila Odinga's presidential bid.

Robert Njuguna says "And he promised To return A dry Port to Mombasa from Naivasha? How many employees are working there from Nakuru County?"
Sangale says "We should not forget having the Dry port in Naivasha has created employment opportunities to many young people there. There is need for a balance between NaKURU and the Coastal region,"
Lagatson Titusson says "Madam Governor. Looking great and promising. Under the leadership of Dr Ruto and you, Nakuru City will be one of the BEST cities in Kenya,"
Lameck says "And Imagine you clapping and shouting UDA when Ruto wants to deny your youths in Naivasha Dry port jobs and returns them back to Mombasa.....maajabu!,"
