Kipchumba Murkomen Finally Breaks Silence, Tiaty MP Arrested Amid Ongoing Insecurity In Laikipia

Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen is a Kenyan lawyer and Senator for Elgeyo-Marakwet County. He was elected Senator for Elgeyo-Marakwet County in 2013 on a URP ticket, winning against the late Nicholas Biwott among other veteran politicians. He was born in 1979 in Elgeyo-Marakwet County. The Senator has publicly shown his desire to vie for gubernatorial seat in Elgeyo-Marakwet.

Laikipia County is in the headlines following the bandits attacks which has seen Tiaty Member of Parliament Hon. Kamket being arrested earlier on today. But on the other hand, Elgeyo-Marakwet County Senator Kipchumba Murkomen joined Senators Kindiki Kithure, Susan Kihika and Kikuyu Member of Parliament Hon. Kimani Ichung'wah for a cup of tea. The flamboyant politician publicly said that they are like tea and they don't know their strength until they are like hot water.

“We are like Tea, we don’t know our own Strength until we’re in Hot Water”-Sister Busche @KindikiKithure @susankihika @KIMANIICHUNGWAH." Tweeted by Kipchumba Murkomen
