Salaries Of Ruto, Museveni And Suluhu In Kenyan Shillings

At a previous event, Presidents William Ruto and Yoweri Museveni of Uganda were present.

On September 13, he was sworn in as the new president of East Africa in front of twenty heads of state and government.

Since taking over for Uhuru Kenyatta, President William Ruto has been hard at work putting together his cabinet. Last week, he announced the members of his cabinet.

The 22 cabinet secretaries must be checked out by members of the national legislature before they can be sworn in as full-fledged cabinet secretaries.

In the meantime, the departing cabinet secretaries continue to help in the operation of the government to ensure the delivery of public services to residents.

President Ruto, who will be in office for the next five years, will get a monthly salary of KSH 1,443,750 in addition to additional benefits such as health insurance and security as defined by the inspector of police.

William Ruto is the highest-paid president in East Africa, compared to other presidents.

The next leader in east Africa after Ruto is Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu, who makes KSH 458,876 per month.

Uganda's strongman, Yoweri Museveni, who has been in power since 1986, only gets KSH 111,160 a month.
