Today, as part of his two-day development tour of the Nyanza region, President William Ruto paid a visit to Homabay County. He was accompanied by his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, the cabinet secretaries for education, information and technology, and interior security, Eliud Owalo and Ezekiel Machogu. The is planning to undertake a number of initiatives, including Homabay and affordable housing.
Analyst Abuga Makori has congratulated the Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua for changing from his usual campaign moods during his Homa bay’s speech. He said that the Deputy President had refrained himself from speaking about Raila Odinga which was commendable.
Abuga Makori tweeted, “DP Rigathi Gachagua is so far doing well. We demand that he replicates his behavior in Homa Bay, Kisumu and Siaya whenever he is in Nairobi and elsewhere. Otherwise he still remains a tribal bigot.”
Kenyans, however, have reacted differently after deputy president Hon. Rigathi Gachagua was seen acting strangely while speaking to residents of Homabay county while accompanying president Hon. William Samoei Ruto. When President William Ruto addressed the residents, the DP Gachagua was spotted hanging from his car, which elicited conflicting emotions.
