With just less than seventy days left to the polls, Kenyans are quite excited about the numerous ongoing opinion polls and their results.
Mizani Africa Limited is one of the forms that conducts regular opinion polls on all elective positions in the country, and today, it released interesting results of the West Pokot gubernatorial race.
The firm ranked former governor of West Pokot Simon Kachapin ahead of the incumbent John Lonyangapuo.

The polls revealed that Kachapin commands the highest ranking of 47.6 per cent followed closely by Lonyangapuo at 44.0 per cent.
The Deputy Governor Nicholas Atundonyang came third with a command of 8.3 per cent.
If the opinion polls are anything to go by, then the people of West Pokot are most likely vote in Kachapin as their next governor.
Even though there were allegations that Kachapin had misused office by engaging in graft, the former governor always claimed he was clean.
Will Lonyangapuo manage to beat Kachapin this time round? Share your insights.
