The hearing of various election petitions filed in court after the August 9th general elections are set to begin.

The Chief Justice Martha Koome and the Judiciary had assigned judges to hear various cases across all the 47 counties.
Former Homa Bay County gubernatorial candidate Dr Evans Kidero moved to court to challenge the election of Homabay County Governor Gladys Wanga.
The Former Nairobi County Governor has this morning arrives in court in the company of Lawyer Julie Soweto to challenge Wanga's victory.

Kidero is to be represented by Soweto in court during the case which he seeks to have the victory of the Former Woman Rep withdrawn.
The two have arrived in court ahead of a pretrial hearing of an election petition where Kidero is challenging the victory of Governor Gladys Wanga in the August 9 election.
Kidero vied for the Homabay County Governor seat in the August 9th general election on an Independent ticket.
