President Ruto appointed Justin Muturi, a former speaker of the public assembly, as the nation's new chief legal officer for the ensuing two years.

Justin Muturi through the verification process before receiving the backing of Parliament to take over as the nation's new top lawyer.

According to the reports we have, he replaces the current Principal Legal Officer Kihara Kariuki, who was chosen by the previous President Uhuru Kenyatta a few years ago.

Justin Muturi, the nation's new chief legal officer, was sworn in at the High Court building earlier today, according to the reliable information that we have on hand from The Legal Executive.

The Main justice of the Country, Martha Koome, confirmed the new Head Legal Officer as a member of the Legal Help Commission in the High Court in Nairobi earlier today.

The Legal Executive announced it a few seconds earlier on their official social media account to inform Kenyans that their new Chief Legal Officer was taking his oath of office.
