The independent electoral and boundaries commission is currently verifying the votes which was received from the polling stations across the country. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the presidential agents are currently at Bomas of Kenya where they are witnessing the counting process.
The deputy president William Ruto's team which is witnessing the process includes the chief of staff Hon Davis Chirchir and united Democratic Alliance party director of communication Hon Wanjohi Githae among other politicians. According to the reports which was shared on the social media platforms, the united Democratic Alliance party blogger Denis Itumbi claimed that the two leaders Davis Chirchir and Wanjohi Githae were arrested and kidnapped before being released shortly.
