Digital strategist and political blogger Pauline Njoroge has shared photos of a project that was initiated by former president Uhuru Kenyatta in the Coast region. The project involved the construction of the Ronald Ngala Utalii College at Vipingo in Kilifi County.
Pauline shared an update on her Facebook page. She said that the project was started by former President Uhuru Kenyatta. Pauline also added that the project will boost the hospitality sector in the Coast region in a big way.
"Good morning. Another one from Uhuru is Ronald Ngala Utalii College in Kilifi. This will boost our hospitality sector in the Coast region in a big way," she posted.
On Friday, area member of parliament Ken Chonga was notified about an inspection tour of the facility that has neared completion and is awaiting opening.The inspection was done by the parliamentary committee on implementation and officials from the ministry of tourism, the tourism fund, and project consultants.
MP Ken Chonga revealed that the institution will offer state-of-the-art technical skills valuable in the hospitality industry.
"Once open, the institution will offer state-of-the-art technical skills in the hospitality industry and also great know-how for embracing the blue economy," he announced.
