Kenyan felt relieved when the high court ruled on BBI Process and termed is null and void due to gross violation of constitution. They also alleged that the IEBC went against the laid down laws to continue with the process of verifying the votes knowing very well that they lack the minimum threshold to conduct such a crucial activity. The five bench judges also blamed the president for his failure to safeguard the constitution as he is required by the law and instead he initiated a process that is against the constitution.
After the ruling several leader came out to condemn the ruling while others welcomed the move. Those who welcomed it said that the move is meant to benefit a few Kenyan at the expense on local 'Mwananchi' who is severely suffering. Kipchumba Murkomen said that the bill is very good for Presidential candidates especially the from runners but very bad for the stability of the country.Following these remarks and observations that kenyans have made so far, there is need for the court to safeguard the constitution against few leader who are lead by their selfish interest. Kenyan are urging the court of appeal to uphold the high court ruling to avoid putting kenyans in a state where many generations will suffer.
