the vice-president His Excellence Rigathi Gachagua has now made it his mission to convince leaders of the Orange Democratic Movement, or ODM, which is affiliated with former prime minister Raila Odinga of Mount Kenya, to leave the group and join the Kenya Kwanza party, which is affiliated with president William Ruto.
His Excellence Rigathi Gachagua stated that he is putting plans in place for the remaining 13% of Mount Kenya residents who support the ODM to defect and join Kenya Kwanza during a graduation meeting on Saturday, April 19.
Rigathi Gachagua, the deputy president, is currently en route to creating a new mount Kenya Kingpin, according to a source. According to reports, he is making inroads with the Mountain region billionaires who publicly declared their support for the former prime minister Raila Odinga while shunning him.
If the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua manages to win over the staunch followers of Raila Odinga among the leaders of Mount Kenya, this could be a setback for the former prime minister Raila Odinga.
