Machakos gubernatorial Candidate Waita Nzioka has Conceded Defeat in the Gubernatorial Elections.
Addressing the Press on Friday Waita Congratulated Wavinya Ndeti and Thanked Those who Stood with him During the Elections.
"Elections is About Tactics and Ideas, we had the Ideas and our Opponents had the Tactics. We Take this Opportunity to Concede and wish our Opponents the Best," Said Waita .
He However Urged Wavinya to Ensure When she Takes the Reign she Does According to the Will of the People.
There are Things our People Need and Should be Given to Them the Next Governor Should Work for the People and Ensure They get Development and Everything They Have Been Missing for all Those Years," he Said.
He Said That There Were Cases of Discrepancy That Were Witnessed in Many Polling Stations Across the County.
"Some Presiding Officers Were Unfair and Allowed our Opponents to Have Many Agents While Ours Were Denied Access," he Said.
When Asked if he Will Petition the Results Waita Said That is Left to the Lawyers who will Advise on the way Forward.
Waita was Vying for the First Time Against Wavinya Ndeti who was in her Third Attempt. He However Managed to Garner Over 100,000 Votes Showing in the Future he may be a Strong Contender and a Possible Winner.
