"You Betrayed Them By Taking All The Land" Gachagua's Remarks That Seems To Target Uhuru's Family And Early Politicians

The head of state, president William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua had been in Nyanza, where they continued to cement their relationship with this region which has always been Raila's stronghold. The two meet with Oburu Odinga and promised to work together for the better interest of Kenyans.

On the return to Nairobi, while addressing the issue of Mukami Kimath, the wife of the late Heroic Fighter Dedan Kimathi, Dp Gachagua urged that the family of Jomo Kenyatta and other early politicians betrayed their fellow freedom fighters and they should surrender parts of their huge acres of land.

Dp Gachagua's remarks seemed to target the first president Jomo Kenyatta's family, Gachagua urged the early politicians who were part of the independence struggle to return and surrender some of their huge hectares of land which are still empty up to now to the Mau Mau freedom fighters.

He added that the early politicians betrayed the Mau Mau fighters by taking all the land which was left to them by the colonizers. They failed to share all that land that the colonial government left for them and up to now the Mau Mau fighters do not even have homes they are still squatters. It can be a good thing if the former politicians can be touched by God to share some of their big lands with the Mau Mau who are still suffering.
