Kileleshwa Ward Member of County Assembly and blogger Robert Alai, has defended Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on his special prayers which he decided to make at Mount Kenya slopes, saying there is nothing wrong with the prayers and people should value their African way of life including worship. But if it was the Azimio leader Raila Odinga who had done so Kenya Kwanza Alliance members would have called them names.
In his latest message on Facebook, Alai argued that if it was the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance coalition party leader Raila Odinga who had gone on the mountain like Gachagua to pray ro God, then the allies of Kenya Kwanza Alliance coalition would have called them names. But according to him there is nothing wrong with praying on the the mountain like Gachagua did, since the forefathers who came up with those traditions are still living spirituality and should not be looked down upon.
