The former Kakamega County Senator and medical doctor, Boni Khalwale has come out to rubbish the latest TIFA polls showing that the ODM party leader Raila Odinga is now leading in the presidential race towards the August polls.
Dr. Khalwale tweeted that TIFA is wasting time in helping the Azimio la Umoja flag bearer and President Uhuru Kenyatta to continue living in denial since 2022 is done and dusted adding that Deputy President William Ruto is the one.
"TIFA is wasting time helping Uhuru and Raila to continue living in denial! 2022 is done and dusted. Ruto it is," he wrote.
According to the TIFA polls conducted between Monday and Tuesday, Raila Odinga choosing Narc-Kenya party leader Martha Karua had a great impact to his numbers compared to DP Ruto choosing Mathira Member of Parliament Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate.
The polls showed that Odinga's popularity stood at 39% which overtook Ruto's 35%. The Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka followed by 2% while the undecided stood at 14%.
However, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) remained the most popular party with 29%, ODM came second with 25% then followed by Jubilee and Wiper at 3%.
