Orange Democratic Movement party Chairman Hon. John Mbadi has finally sent a strong message to Embakasi East Hon. Babu Owino over the issue of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) seat. The Embakasi East legislator blasted his ODM party for what he termed as betrayals and intimidation towards the youthful members of ODM.
According to Babu Owino, John Mbadi was being fronted for the PAC Chairman seat after being dropped from his previous leader of majority in the Parliament. Hon. Babu Owino has been eyeing the position quite sometimes now and believed that he was fit to lead the Committee of Public Accounts.
Further, Babu Owino claimed that the slot was saved for him. He argued that John Mbadi had been nominated which is already a favour done to him. In addition, he has vowed to fight for something he believes was his without fear and intimidation.
However, in what seems to be Hon. Babu's reply, John Mbadi reiterated claims that he wanted to be the PAC Chair. He told Babu that he had not communicated anywhere that he wanted to be one. He later gave Babu a piece of advice that the PAC Chair is voted for by the members of the board.
