Tribunal Appointed By Ruto To Investigate The ‘Cherera 4' Makes The Following Major Announcement

The tribunal that was appointed by President William Ruto to investigate and try the four under pressure IEBC Commissioners has made a major announcement today on what they're planning.

According t confirmed reports, the tribunal who leader is the newly appointed Court of Appeal Judge, Justice Aggrey Muchelule has now informed that come Friday this week, the team will hold a status conference with regard to the proceedings of their investigations. This comes just days after two of the embattled commissioners, Cherera and Nyang'aya resigned from office.

The President ordered investigations to be conducted with regard to the conduct of the four commissioners whose role in the concluded presidential polls was really massive. At the moment, the four commissioners, Juliana Cherera (IEBC Vice Chairperson), Francis Wanderi, Irene Masit and Justus Nyang'aya are all in suspension until the investigations are complete.

They were accused of gross misconduct during the polls following their action to disown the final presidential results which were later announced by the IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati.
