Professor Makau Mutua, the Raila Odinga's Campaigns Spokesperson has prophesied of the coming political downfall of Deputy President Dr. William Ruto as Political tensions in the country soar. Makau Mutua has hardly hit the second in command of the consequences that shall befall him in this coming elections.
According to Mutua, Ruto will be called 'raia' (citizen) again come August 9th, 2022 after many years of being in power since 1997 when he was aged 31 years. Having stayed in power in quarter century, Mutua hints that DP Ruto will fall terribly in this August general elections and from there he will be out of the government and living like other normal citizens. Mutua's statement comes just a day when President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto today bitterly exchanged words that have since caused stir in the country.
"DP @WilliamsRuto will FALL hard — VERY HARD — on August 9. For the first time since 1997 (when he was 31) — a quarter century — he will have no official position within the state either in the legislature or executive. He will become RAIA again. The political wilderness awaits," Makau Mutua says.
