In his retirement speech today, the IBC chairman stated that he doesn't look back on his decision.
Members of the ministry, who had previously stated that Chebukati had convinced them to visit his shack before disclosing the results, have now revealed everything that transpired at Bomas during the August elections.
A pastorate member named Ole Sapit announced that because they were told as they pleaded before the time ran out, they were the first individuals to understand the moment at which results were to be announced.
By revealing that he is absolving himself of his responsibility as the IBC Chairman even if he indulges in office frivolity, Chebukati has deflected the reprimand, though.
His affidavit has been refuted by Kenyans, and several of them have questioned him about what grievances he is expressing given that, despite leaving, he was the IBC chairman and brought in billions of dollars.
