Since the supreme court ruling on presidential election petition upholding the victory of his excellency the fifth president of republic of Kenya honourable William Ruto, Azimio La Umoja leader former prime minister have decided to take a low profile and Kenyans were asking his whereabout after missing Ruto's inauguration ceremony.
Speaking in Mombasa during swearing in Omar Hassan as governor, Raila disclosed that he went to Zanzibar With children and grandchildren so that they can all heal from the shock of losing election together.
"The judges of the apex court should not think that they can intimidate and threaten me to say the judgement was shambolic." He said.
Encoring his sentiments, former Mombasa governor Hassan Joho disclosed he will take up the role of keeping government in check. "Being in opposition is not a death sentence." He stated.
