According to the Standard, The two parties had booked the same venue to hold their rallies for the upcoming Kiambaa constituency By-election, posing a threat of clashes between supporters of the two political outfits.
"We only knew of one event here, but this morning we received another letter. I want to condemn the administration of Karuri Primary School for allowing two events to take place," Ali Nuno county commissioner said.
Authorities ordered supporters of the two parties who had gathered outside Karuri primary school gate to go home, leaving them disappointed.
The Standard reports that a section of disgruntled youths, donning different party colours were heard chanting "Baba", in response to being blocked from attending the rallies.
