The 2022 succession politics continue has become the center stage of Kenya's discussion. Aspirants who wish to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta have been busy reorganizing themselves and employing different strategies to strengthen their political bases, ahead of a bruising 2022 presidential elections. President Uhuru however, is claimed to have be scratching his head, not knowing whom to endorse for the top seat.
Some of the ODM leaders have claimed that there is a plan by State House to endorse Gideon Moi for presidency. But again the Head of State fears Raila Odinga might feel threatened and join hands with Dp Ruto, which will become something risky as they are the most popular politicians in Kenya.
And if Uhuru Kenyatta picks ANC leader, Raila will still feel bad about it. If Uhuru endorses Raila, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi will not be well with the arrangement and might form a coalition with Dp Ruto.
The only option that has presented itself for Uhuru is to work together with either Dp Ruto or Raila Odinga. In the event Raila is placed in one formation with Musalia, then it is guaranteed they will clinch the top seat.
Uhuru can also struck a deal with Dp Ruto and absorb Musalia and Kalonzo into the equation. This means that he has two top leaders at the disposal and powers of Raila will be reduced. It is such a big headache for President Uhuru, it is worth waiting to see whom he will endorse to replace him.
To our esteemed readers, whom do you think will be appropriate presidential candidate who can be endorsed by President Uhuru for 2022 presidency?
