According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the Makutano women welcomed the Azimio La Umoja running mate Hon Martha Karua in style as the agreed to support her in the next general election. Hon Martha Karua on her speech urged the women to stand with the orange democratic movement party leader Hon Raila Odinga who is ghe leader of Azimio La Umoja coalition party.
Despite that, Hon Martha Karua was also accompanied by several leaders led by minister for agriculture Hon Peter Munya. The other leaders includes Hon Sabina Chege, Hon Raphael Tuju, Kieni member of parliament Hon Kanini Kega among other leaders.
