The Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amollo Odinga has today left the crowd at the Azimio la Umoja convention in Garisa Electrified as he delivers the following moving speech about Water Shortage and youth unemployment in the North-Eastern region.
While addressing thousands of supporters who have attended the convention, the former Prime minister has pointed out that the region has been marginalized for decades in terms of development projects due to unfair poor leadership. According to the opposition chief, the region contributes to a high percentage of unemployed youths in the entire country.
To address these issues, Raila has promised that when elected, reintroduce the Ministry of Northern Kenya and ASAL Development and ensure more funds are allocated to the Ministry to ensure the growth region is well taken care of if given a chance to lead the country.
