Deputy president wife Racheal Ruto is actively involved is several community based initiatives which improves the livelihoods of many people. Her initiatives are mostly targeting young women and girls who are vulnerable in the society. Her initiatives received a major boost after Israel government pledged to support and partner with her.
Racheal Ruto said that Kenya and Israel continues to enjoy a strong and mutual relationship and have partnered on various issues. She thanked Israel government for partnering with her team through her cycling initiative which aims at actualization of smart cities. She said that her office is fully committed to champion for this initiative as well as to engage and share more knowledge and experience on agriculture.
Both leaders agreed to work together in a luncheon attended by Israel ambassador to Kenya H.E Oded Joseph in Nairobi. The Israel ambassador was accompanied by his deputy H.E Eyal David. Israel ambassador thanked Racheal Ruto for her community service and assured her that Israel government will support and partner with her.
