Today, the majority of Senators allied to the Kenya Kwanza movement skipped the senate session. Empty seats were witnessed today in the afternoon session.
The senators attended the launch of the hustler fund which was presided over by his excellency, President William Ruto.

The event was venued at Greenpark grounds, Nairobi.
Ruto officially launched the hustler fund whose aim is to boost Kenyans who are financially unstable. Only Kenyans who are above the age of 18 years are eligible to apply for the loan. One can borrow as little as 500 KSH and a maximum of 50,000.
