The Kiagu ward by-election has taken a new shape and it's clear it's a two horse race between jubilee party and UDA. The fact of the matter is however that even ardent jubilee supporters agree the party is not prepared for the by-election like was once revealed by Ngunjiri Wambugu.
It's clear also that politics being local, UDA has more local leaders who are in support of the party. This just confirms that jubilee chances in the by-election are very slim or completely none whatsoever.
However it's also clear the UDA candidate Karani has contested for the seat before when she lost. This therefore confirms that moving forward most likely UDA party will capture the seat and deal a heavy blow to jubilee party against after the Kiambaa by-election.
This just confirms that Ruto is a force to reckon with and a person who it's not easy to mess with politically. He has proved his political mettle and why he can easily form the next government as we move into the next general election.
