Bomet leaders today came together and visited former Bomet governor Isaac Ruto at their Kericho county home after losing his dear mom. Among those who went to visit the home include all the MPs drawn from constituencies within Bomet county. Isaac Ruto was touched by their move thanking them for the kind gesture.
"Received leaders from Bomet County led by Hon. Gideon Koskei Sonko (Chepalungu), Hon Richard Kilel UDA Candidate Bomet Central, Hon. Brighton Yegon (Konoin) and Hon. Dominic Koskei (Sotik) among other leaders who came to condole with our family following the passing on of our beloved mother Mama Jane Tirop," said Isaac Ruto.
Feeling the pressure, the governor who has been on a serious campaign trail has also visited his rival this evening .this will bring to stop criticism from some quotas that he had turned a blind eye on the matter.
The mother of Isaac Ruto passed on on Tuesday at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital and her body was transferred to Siloam Hospital as plans for her funeral are underway. She will be laid to rest on Wednesday 22nd June at her home in Chepseon Kericho county.
