Details Emerge on What Wajackoya Told Ruto When They Met at Bomas VIP Section

When three presidential candidates met yesterday in the VIP holding area at Bomas of Kenya while awaiting Chebukati's final announcement of the President-elect, they were all smiles and laughter.

Prof. George Wajackoyah of Roots Party, Mwaure Waihiga of Agano, and Kenya Kwanza's William Ruto shared a lighthearted moment following their first public meeting following the elections.

Wajackoyah enthusiastically greeted the departing Vice President and unexpectedly praised Ruto's exceptional planning.

Prof. Wajackoyah stated, "This man (referring to President-elect Ruto), you have heard what I have said previously, your eyes see beyond."

Dr. Ruto received 7,176,141 votes (50.49%), surpassing Mr. Odinga, who received 48.85% of the vote, to win the president in the first round with a majority plus one.

Roots Party leader George Wajackoyah was in third position while Agano party leader Waihiga Mwaure was number four.

Waihiga Mwaure had already conceded defeat and said that he was backing William Ruto.
