'Ruto's House Is Not A State House' Matiangi Declares This In Parliament

Interior Fred Matiangi arrived in Parliament today to answer about the withdrawal of GSU officers from Ruto's residential home. The GSU officers were replaced by the AP police who are believed to be skilled to do the work. Matiangi responded that it was not a withdrawal of security but just a reassignment which is not something to worry about. He also defended the Police Inspector General saying that he did not misuse his powers in any way because he consulted with other security officials before making the decision.

Matiangi also added that Ruto's home is neither a statehouse nor a state lodge and therefore they did what was required of them by the law and not was required to popularise the home. CS Fred has also disclosed that Ruto's house is the most guarded house of a DP in Kenya's history, with one of the most skilled officers guarding it.
