Tomorrow the 8th of December the people of Bungoma County will line up to cast theur votes for the senate seat. This seat became vacant after Moses Wetangula who was the Former Senator resigned to take his job as Speaker of the National Assembly.
An opinion poll has been conducted by Strawpoll according to one of the local dailies to alledge who is likely to win the Bungoma senate race if elections were to be held today.
The Bungoma senate race will be a contest between Wafula Wamunyunyi on an Azimo La Umoja side DAP-K Party, Mwambu Mabonga on a United Democratic Alliance Party, David Wafula Wakoli on FORD Kenya Party and Independent candidate Makhoha.
An opinion poll results has alleged that Mwambu Mabonga of UDA is leading with a popularity of 50 percent while Wafula Wamunyunyi had 33 percent. David Wakoli has 6 percent in the conducted opinion poll
