President William Ruto fulfilled one of his promises he made during campaign period by launching hustler fund. President Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua pleaded with Kenyans to support the hustler fund project by applying the loan and paying in time. 
Barely 24 hours after the president launched the initiative a total of sh 408 million had been borrowed by Kenyans. Cooperate and MSMEs cabinet secretary Simon Chelugui said that 1.4 million Kenyans have fully registered with hustler fund.
The requirement for anybody to apply for hustler fund including, having 18 years and above, have a registered safaricom, Airtel or Telcom sim card. To apply for hustler fund, one should dial *254#, agree with terms and conditions and you will receive the loan limit you are eligible. 
This fund is specifically targeting for small business people who want to upgrade their businesses. President Ruto also said that, this is an opportunity for people who had been blacklisted by other loan lending institutions.
