Ugunja Constituency Member of Parliament Honourable Opiyo Wandayi has claimed that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairperson Wafula Chebukati Will Fire the commission's Deputy Chief Executive Officer on Tuesday.
Through his social media accounts, he alleged that the outgoing chair and his team will fire Deputy CEO Ruth Kulundu against a court order that reinstated her to office after having been suspended earlier.
The Orange Democratic Movement ODM party elected Member of Parliament who is also the National Assembly leader of minority has said that the move cannot be tolerated and such impunity will end one day.

Kulundu’s relationship with her colleagues has been strained since the disputed presidential election, where she was accused of scheduling a commission plenary meeting on August 26 without the CEO’s consent.Marjan accused Kulundu in the interdiction letter of impersonation.
Chebukati, through his legal team led by former Attorney General Prof. Githu Muigai at the onset of the election petition hearing, compelled the Supreme Court bench led by Chief Justice Martha Koome to resolve the dispute.
